Welcome to the Southern California Tamil Association
of Southern California in Los Angeles - Orange
We are a group of Tamil community living in Southern California dedicated to promoting
Tamil Values to the next generation of Tamil children growing up in Southern California.
Along with this we will be organizing different cultural/entertainment events for children,
family get together and supporting senior people.
We will be celebrating all Tamil religious functions as part of SOCALTAMIL.ORGĀ and
bring all other tamil association(s) in Southland.
- Impart to our next generation of children, Tamil Culture, Tamil Values and the richness of our festivals
- To NETWORK within the Tamil community at large for various individual or group activities and needs.
- To provide support and services to the community
- Conduct Prayer and Spiritual Meetings to enhance morals & ethics, with parents and children participating.
- Become a Venue for collecting funds and providing the needy at times crisis.
- Provide emotional and financial (as needed) help to people within the community in times of need

There are lot of service providers to buy our native products. Also there are Hindu temples for various GOD to worship.
The famous "Little India Village" is located in Artesia, Southern California.
Artesia is a general law city in southeast Los Angeles County, California, United States and is one of the country's Gateway Cities.
Artesia, particularly Pioneer Blvd, is the bustling commercial hub of the Indian community in Southern California.
There are large number of Indian-owned stores and restaurants along Pioneer Blvd. in Artesia.

- Our main purpose is to conduct events, fun filled activities and celebrate all religious festivals.
- By celebrating religious ceremonies, "It's an opportunity for the Tamil Community to have a get together and feel actually the way they would celebrate in India". We also do social service through this community.
- We conduct cultural events, birthday parties, wedding celebrations, anniversaries and other family occasions.
